The Joy and Urgency of the Kingdom

The King and His Kingdom

The gospel is bigger than you can imagine because Jesus is more precious than everything else put together…by an infinite degree. Is your gospel too small? When you think about the gospel, is it just about where you will go when you die, or avoiding punishment, or becoming the right kind of moral person, or having some amazing religious experience? Is it the sum total of having all the right doctrines lined up in your head? Does your gospel just shuffle the deck of your life a little…does it just move the furniture around a bit so that you have the kind of feng shui that you are looking for? Is all of this just the familiar thing that you do? Your gospel is too small… you need a God-sized, Jesus shaped gospel!

Scripture References: Matthew 13:44-58

From Series: "The King and His Kingdom"

Jesus is the King sent from Heaven to establish His eternal Kingdom. He wields the weapons of Heaven against the kingdom of Satan and reigns victorious.
