False Teachers
False teachers enslave others in their own corruption. False teaching is any teaching that attempts to add or take away from the sufficiency of Jesus to save ALL who come to him by faith. Scripture teaches us that knowledge of God is a whole hearted and whole person knowledge. It is not just knowing things about God—It also must be present in a transformed heart and life. None of these things are ever going to be perfect on this side of the resurrection. But taken as a whole we must look at how God tells us to know him. One cannot claim to be a teacher of the truth if that teaching does not lead you to spiritual fruit of “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control (Gal. 5:22–23 ESV)”.
