The Spirit teaches us to pray with hope and expectation in the day to day, knowing that God will bring about a glorious future. When he speaks on our behalf, he teaches us to desire and delight in the will of God! We can have confidence that our prayers will be heard and effective, and, at the same time, we are released from thinking that we need to get our own way.
