Bearing the Name
We tend to read this command and treat God as though he is “he who must not be named”. But that is not what he said. He says you must not walk through this life, bearing my name in an empty, indifferent way that is for no profit at all. You must bear my Name truly and fully. God wants his people to take his name on our lips…he wants his people to bear his name in a full, wholehearted way.
