Family Resemblance
We think that God is waiting to crush us…that God’s disappointment in us will find us on the outside looking in…that God is not the Father that he claims to be. But what kind of love does he actually give to us? It was the kind of love that had nothing to do with what we deserve. But if the kind of love God gave to us in making us his children wasn’t ever about what we deserve…then why do you feel like you need to hold on sin…and why do we go on trying to hide from God in shame?
