Fulfillment
The Tabernacle…in all of its detail, doesn’t just tell the truth…it makes the truth sticky…and it allows God’s people to grow up in the truth.…that he wants his people to know him…and he wants to dwell with and meet with his people. He wants his people to know that they have a share in Him…in a family—as part of something permanent…holy…and good. He also wants his people to know that things are not the way they should be—the Tabernacle is necessary because there is something wrong with the relationship between God and humanity. And the tabernacle is necessary because it displays God’s intention not to leave that something wrong as a permanent condition.
