Message: “Prepare the Way” from Michael Daling

The Gospel begins by telling us exactly what story we are in. Jesus came to vindicate the name of God! But there is a huge twist in the story…in all of those ways that God was accused, Jesus was also accused. He was born under suspicious circumstances, accused of being unfaithful to God, accused of condoning wickedness, accused of misrepresenting God and the truth. They accused Jesus in every way their fathers had accused God. But then Jesus bore the full weight of God’s judgment on those who accused him.
