This new creation reality is displayed in Christ’s body…the church. We are members one of another (though we often don’t think about it or live like it). We are one body inhabited by one Spirit…there is one hope, one Lord, One faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all. There is one body of Jesus, then—This defines us. We can’t pretend Christianity without the body…and (and this is critical) we can’t sit idly by and look to ourselves when another part of the body hurts.
