Reconciliation with one another is not an afterthought to the gospel. There is no such thing as both of us being reconciled to God, but refusing to be reconciled to each other. That is contrary to the gospel. It is contrary to the one Spirit of God. You cannot have Jesus and still claim a kingdom of your own where you have the right to withhold love, mercy, and forgiveness from one another.
