God and His Mediator
The Bible says that God spoke to Moses, the mediator, face-to-face. In the perfect mediator…Jesus Christ…God comes face to face with us. The distance is gone. The limits around the mountain…the boundary wall is broken down. And now the way is made for us to boldly approach the throne of God’s grace. Jesus is fully God and fully man…the perfect mediator of a new covenant where God’s Law is written on the hearts of his people…because the perfect mediator between God and man, Jesus Christ, is not distant, but with us always. Through the Spirit, we dwell in Jesus. If you will not come to God through the mediator, it is really simple…you won’t come near to God!
