The Gospel
How do I know that I am a Christian? Because God sent his Son Jesus, the one he loves most, to save sinners—of whom I am the foremost. Jesus lived the life that I couldn’t and wouldn’t live. He died the death that I deserve. He rose to life so that in him I might live. He was seated at the right hand of the Father, infinite in his power and authority. God’s word tells me that this Jesus is God’s gift to me. This is how God loves.
