The Lord Alone
You shall rest and you shall feast…I am commanding you today to enjoy all that I have provided for you. In order to do this, you need to trust me. YES…you must rest even at planting and harvest time—when you are most prone to think “I can’t stop…there’s too much to do…if I rest according to God’s command it will all fall apart!” And YES—you must come and feast with me three times per year—YES, that means leaving your homes and land unprotected (that is, unprotected by you)—trust me when you are most prone to think, the outcome of this situation and my security depends on me alone.
