Worthy is the Lamb
Why are we here? We are here to praise the glorious Christ! We are here so that we can grow in repentance, and faith, and love for this Jesus! We are here to declare his goodness to each other and to take each other by the hand to glorify His name with our whole lives. We are here to let the delight of heaven itself shape us. We seek the name and fame of Jesus. As we step into a new year, we need to remember this… We offer Jesus…nothing more…nothing less.

The book of Revelation was written to the church in the first century that was under threat. It was under threat of persecution and oppression and marginalization economically, politically, and socially. They hadn’t faced widespread persecution yet, but they could see it on the horizon. They face a far more dangerous threat from within—the threat of compromising their faith.
